Impact and Engagement Officer (NIHR Safety Net)

This role will support researchers in the NIHR Patient Safety Research

Collaboration:

North West London (NIHR PSRC:NWL) to disseminate and amplify the impact of their research by supporting public engagement events like the 2027 Safety Net Symposium and the Great Exhibition Road Festival. They will develop engaging communications materials and support gathering data about the range of impacts that projects have had.

What you would be doing

You will project manage the delivery of an exhibition showcasing the work of the researchers of the NIHR PSRC:

NWL at the Great Exhibition Road Festival in 2027 and support the Centre Manager to deliver the Safety Net Symposium in London in October 2027. You will develop engaging communications including a quarterly newsletter and regular Linked In content. You will support the evaluation of the impact of the NIHR PSRC:

NWL by collating information in surveys and qualitatively capture outcomes of meetings for reporting purposes.

Experience communicating to a range of stakeholders from across the health and/or research sectors

Experience communicating healthcare research to the public

Experience of working unsupervised with responsibility for managing own work

The NIHR PSRC: NWL seeks to address the patient safety challenges of today and tomorrow, by driving uptake of innovations and service transformation by patients, health and social care workers, health systems, policymakers and regulators. We support the development, validation and testing of such interventions.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week).

This role is for a fixed-term contract for 15 months.
