AboutThe Role
Applications are invited for Lead for Digital Clinical Teaching and Learning at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS). The postholder will provide oversight and leadership of CAPSULE, a clinical case-based learning resource which is a BSMS technology-enhanced learning product which is used nationally and locally within our curriculum. The post holder will work to further integrate CAPSULE into the undergraduate curriculum.
In addition, they will provide academic leadership in the area of digital education within the undergraduate curriculum in line with the BSMS 5-year strategy.
It is open to suitably medically qualified General Practitioners, specialists in any relevant specialty at consultant level or specialist trainees that are due shortly to receive clinical accreditation within their specialty, with an established academic track record in medical education. The role is open to internal and external candidates.
About YouWe are looking for an individual with experience in digital medical education, with experience in curriculum design and digital integration. The appointee will hold a substantive NHS contract. From an academic perspective, this post will be based in the Department of Medical Education at BSMS.
