Are you an experienced pharmacist with a passion for improving prescribing quality, medicines optimisation, and patient outcomes in primary care?
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Prescribing Adviser to join our Medicines Management Team on a 12-month maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of primary care pharmacy, supporting GP practices to deliver safe, evidence-based and cost-effective prescribing.
This post is a fixed term/secondment for 12 months from start date to cover maternity leave. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.

Main duties of the job:
As a Band 8a Prescribing Adviser, you will play a key role in delivering the Health Board's Medicines Management Action Plan and supporting improvements in prescribing quality across primary care. You will work collaboratively with GP practices and multidisciplinary teams to optimise medicines use, improve patient care and support delivery of national and local prescribing priorities.
