Deputy Clinical Lead Nurse - Enhanced Care Team

You will be fully supported to develop in a wide range of clinical skills including tracheostomy care, PEG management and advanced communication skills., The successful individuals must be able to work autonomously whilst demonstrating excellent leadership and management skills including delegation to a skilled health care support worker.

As part of a holistic care model you will be involved in supporting the individual to access the community for both health and social appointments. The role is challenging and rewarding and you will be fully encouraged and supported with your professional development. The care at home team has a dynamic internal education team with a focus on professional development and succession planning.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post;
Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply, Recent NHS or Care Home experience within the last 12 months is essential.,

• Relevant experience at Band 5
• Staff caseload supervision
• Evidence of supervision and development of junior staff, Able to perform and demonstrate expanded clinical skills for area of nursing including intravenous injections, cannulation, catheterisation, Degree level or equivalent
• Specialist clinical training, management qualification and post grad qualification or equivalent demonstrable knowledge and experience
• Clinical Supervision
