Team Leader – Care

We are looking for a compassionate, experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our dedicated team at Brownlee Court Care Home.
The successful candidate will support the management team in delivering high quality, person centred care while providing leadership and guidance to care staff.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Lead and support the care team during shifts.
 
* Ensure residents receive safe, dignified and person-centred care.
 
* Support care staff with day-to-day duties and provide guidance where required.
 
* Ensure care plans and daily records are accurately completed.
 
* Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any changes or concerns appropriately.
 
* Support medication administration in line with training and company procedures.
 
* Promote safeguarding, infection control, health and safety and good care practices.
 
* Communicate effectively with residents, relatives, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
 
* Assist with staff induction, training and supervision where required.
 
* Act as a positive role model and promote teamwork and professional standards.
About You
 
* Previous experience working in a care home or similar setting.
 
* Experience in a senior care or team leader role is desirable.
 
* Strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding.
 
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
 
* Able to work effectively under pressure and manage a busy shift.
 
* Caring, reliable and committed to maintaining high standards of care.
 
* Relevant care qualifications such as NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care are desirable
