Care Assistant - Complex Care (Leigh-On-Sea, Essex)

£15.20 / £18 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Day/Night shifts available
Urgent requirement for 1530 - 2130 shifts

This is a meaningful 1:1 role where you can genuinely see the impact of the support you provide.

About the Client

Our client is a young 6 year old girl with Complex care requirements.

Clinical Requirements

• Experience with Children
• Dystonia management
• PEG / Feeding / Medication via button gastrostomy
• Administration of inhalers
• Position changing, client is dependent of an adult for all transfers and mobility
• Oral Suctioning
• Brain injury experience
• Seizure management
• Personal care

Shifts Available

What the Role Involves

• Delivering compassionate 1:1 care in the client’s home
• Comforting the client when unsettled
• Supporting with community access and social activities
• Promoting independence and dignity in all tasks
• Providing emotional reassurance and wellbeing support
• Communicating effectively with the clinical, care, and coordination teams

Your presence will help the client feel safe, supported and in control of their daily routine.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting children with complex care needs.
• Strong communication and reliability, with the ability to build trusting relationships with both clients and there guardians.
• Empathy, emotional intelligence and person-centred values
• Ability to work independently and professionally

Compliance Requirements

All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks, reference checks, Right to Work verification and full CQC/Schedule 3-compliant onboarding.

• £250 for every Registered Nurse you refer

Paid once your referral completes 150 hours.
