Healthcare Assistant HCA Treatment Room

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant for flexible treatment room sessions across primary care services in ERROL
. This role is ideal for HCAs confident in performing routine clinical tasks within structured GP clinic environments, providing hands-on support to nursing and clinical teams.

You will assist with day-to-day treatment room duties, essential observations and routine procedures, ensuring smooth patient flow and consistent clinical support across the service.

• Carrying out routine clinical observations including BP, pulse and temperature
• Supporting treatment room procedures such as wound care and dressings
• Performing ECGs and basic health checks
• Assisting with phlebotomy if trained
• Updating digital patient records in line with service protocols
• Supporting clinicians with general duties where needed
• Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment

• Previous HCA experience in primary care or NHS clinical settings
• Confident performing routine clinical observations
• Phlebotomy experience desirable
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different clinic environments
• Enhanced DBS
