This is an opportunity to lead a dedicated community respiratory team while making a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families across Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.
As our Band 7 Respiratory Clinical Team Manager, you will support the Community Specialist Respiratory Team providing specialist assessment, treatment and management of patients with respiratory conditions in community settings. You will play a key role in delivering services including COPD admission avoidance and recovery support, oxygen assessment and prescribing, and pulmonary rehabilitation programmes.
Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will work closely with the Specialist Services Manager to support service delivery, workforce development, quality improvement and patient safety, helping to ensure the service continues to deliver excellent care across the locality.

- Provide specialist assessment, treatment and management of patients with respiratory conditions across community settings
- Develop, implement and evaluate evidence-based patient management plans
- Support timely intervention to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and facilitate safe care at home
- Deliver community oxygen assessments, interpretation of results and oxygen prescribing in line with local and national guidance
- Participate in the delivery and development of Pulmonary Rehabilitation services
- Provide clinical supervision, mentorship and support to junior staff and learners
