Hothfield Neuro-Rehabilitation Unit is seeking an experienced and motivated
Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine to join their specialist neuro-rehabilitation service on a part-time basis working 0.2 FTE.
Hothfield is a highly regarded specialist rehabilitation unit providing comprehensive multidisciplinary rehabilitation for adults with
Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), spinal cord injury, and complex neurological conditions
including stroke
. The unit supports individuals with complex physical, cognitive, and behavioural rehabilitation needs following injury or illness through innovative, clinically led, technology assisted rehabilitation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant who is passionate about delivering
high-quality neuro-rehabilitation and improving long-term outcomes for patients with complex neurological conditions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in
clinical leadership, medical management, and multidisciplinary rehabilitation planning,working alongside a skilled team of therapists, nurses, psychologists and rehabilitation specialists.
The role is ideally suited to someone seeking a
flexible part-time consultant role within an established neuro-rehabilitation service
with a high calibre MDT.
To provide
specialist medical leadership and clinical management
for patients undergoing neuro-rehabilitation at Hothfield Neuro-Rehabilitation Unit, particularly those with:
- Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
- Spinal cord injury
- Stroke and complex neurological conditions
The Consultant will work collaboratively with the
multidisciplinary team (MDT)to optimise recovery, functional outcomes and quality of life for patients.
