Pharmacist - Bank​/Flexi

Bank pharmacist post at Practice Plus Group Hospital in Southampton, offered on a bank or flexi basis, with shifts booked around existing commitments. The work centres on clinical pharmacy across inpatient, outpatient and day-patient services, including prescription review, medicines optimisation, patient counselling and dispensary cover. It suits a pharmacist with experience in a similar role who wants flexible hospital shift work.

Applicants must be GPhC-registered and have the right to work in the UK.

• Provide expert pharmaceutical advice and support throughout the patient journey
• Review prescriptions and optimise medicines
• Counsel patients and carers
• Support discharge planning
• Provide dispensary cover
• Support delivery of a clinical pharmacy service across inpatient, outpatient and day-patient services
• Contribute to medicines governance
• Contribute to clinical audit

• GPhC registration as a pharmacist

• Experience in a similar pharmacist role

• Strong communication and team-working skills
