Permanent full-time post in the Imaging department at Spire Dunedin Hospital, a private hospital, centred on MRI and CT scanning within a small team. The work is highly specialised, adapting scan techniques to protocols from varied referral sources and spotting significant pathology so patients can be directed onward. Radiology procedures are run to Spire standards, with ongoing Spire mandatory e-learning expected.
HCPC registration is needed to apply.
- Provide highly skilled, specialised MRI and CT imaging
- Adapt imaging techniques to protocols from a range of referral sources
- Recognise significant pathology and direct patients accordingly
- Implement and maintain Spire radiology procedures
- Communicate effectively as part of a small team
- Develop knowledge and practice in own area, including completing Spire mandatory e-learning modules
- Diploma or degree in radiography
- HCPC registration
- Strong communication skills
- Good standard of IT
- Cannulation and IV drug administration training
- Previous experience within private healthcare
- Postgraduate certificate in MRI or CT
