Housekeeper role at Malmaison. £12.56 per hour, 16 hours per week. Permanent position. Hotel du Vin Brighton.

• Work as part of the Housekeeping team to ensure all guest bedrooms are cleaned daily to the highest standards.
• Maintain public areas, including function rooms and the courtyard, to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Support the wider housekeeping team by assisting with guest bedrooms, linen porter duties, and ad-hoc maintenance tasks (e.g., jet washing, deep cleaning of showers with steam equipment, descaling).
• Interact with guests as a Public Area Housekeeper; a good standard of conversational English is essential.
• Follow training on the safe use of chemicals and equipment; role requires good physical fitness.
• Be flexible to work set shifts (typically 9:00 am to 4:00 pm) and to work on any day of the week as needed.

• Experience in a similar role is not required, but a positive attitude and desire to make a difference within the hotel is essential.
• Ability to work independently for periods of time; good communication skills.
• Full training provided, including safety procedures and equipment use.
