Senior HR and L&D Advisor

Role Purpose

Provide high-quality HR service including policy advice, recruitment, workforce development, and employee relations. Participate in HR projects and initiatives.

• Manage HR operations across the employee lifecycle (onboarding to exit).
• Administer payroll and pensions accurately, ensuring compliance.
• Monitor absence and support managers with performance cycles.
• Deliver HR advice and guidance, manage small projects, and implement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate HR records and stay updated on legislation.

Own an element of the L&D piece from training needs analysis, managing programmes for selected groups and potentially some delivery.

• Professional approach with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to balance priorities.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and responsiveness.
• Proficiency in HR systems and data management.
