  • Partner with business leaders to plan and deliver organisational transformation initiatives, supporting operating model changes, workforce transitions and the successful adoption of new ways of working
  • Provide professionalpeople partnering, coaching and strategic advice to leaders and managers,building capability to lead change, manage organisational impacts and drive high performing, engaged teams throughperiods of transformation
  • Lead on complex people challenges arising from transformation programmes, using data, insight and diagnosticreviewsto identify risks, develop solution sand drive continuous improvement aligned to business objectives
  • Ensureorganisational change initiatives are delivered in line with employment legislation, organisational polices and best practice, conducting impact assessments, investigations and root cause analysis to mitigate risk and support sustainable change outcomes
  • Develop, review and implementpeople policies, frameworks and change processes that support transformation objectives, ensuring they remain compliant, fit for purpose and responsive to evolving organisational needs
  • Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, trade union representatives, external partners and suppliers, influencing at all levels to secure engagement, manage change effectively and deliver transformational business outcomes

This is a highly important role within our People, Work spaces & Development portfolio, which means you’ll need:

  • Relevant experience or qualification equivalent to SCQF Level 8-10, with Chartered level CIPD membership (or working towards Chartered status), supported by comprehensive knowledge of employment law, employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, and HR best practice
  • Proven experience in leading complex employee relations casework, organisational change programmes and workforce restructures within a business partnering environment
  • Demonstratable ability to analyse and interpret employment legislation, workforce data, people metrics and stakeholder requirements translating business needs into evidence-based people strategies, policies, workforce plans, and organisational development interventions
  • Highly developed communication, influencing and relationship-management skills, with the ability to provide authoritative advice, coaching and challenge to senior leaders and managers ensuring consistent and legally compliant guidance to others on the resolution of issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with experience of using HR data, workforce analytics and business insight to identify trends, evaluate options, mitigate organisation risk, and drive informed people related decision making and continuous improvement
