We are pleased to advertise an exciting secondment opportunity for a Senior Workforce Planning Officer within the People Services Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in workforce planning while working with colleagues across BCUHB to support the delivery of robust workforce plans and sustainable workforce solutions.

Support workforce planning and education commissioning projects across BCUHB, working with services to develop workforce plans, analyse workforce data, identify future workforce needs, to help services deliver sustainable workforce solutions. You’ll engage with a wide range of stakeholders, provide workforce planning advice and training, and contribute to service improvement and workforce redesign initiatives.

The role requires resilience and professionalism, a proactive and analytical individual with experience in workforce planning, project management, service improvement or transformation. You’ll have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, be confident working with data and producing reports and undertaking training.

We are looking for someone who can motivate and build relationships across services, work independently and maintain momentum when managing competing priorities.

• Support the organisation to plan their workforce by using standardised approaches and methodology to deliver robust workforce plans.
• Support the development of local workforce plans aligned to the BCU workforce planning process, and work with stakeholders to embed within the service and financial planning cycle.
