Godolphin are seeking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a full time, office-based role, on the outer skirts of Newmarket.

About the role

As HR Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for managers and employees across the following specialist areas, delivering a high-quality HR service and ensuring compliance with employment legislation:

Recruitment – end-to-end recruitment, working closely with managers, onboarding and pre-employment checks
Apprenticeships – lead for apprenticeship programmes, monitoring compliance, funding requirements and progress reviews
Learning & Development – coordinate learning initiatives, training programmes and development activities
Immigration and Visa administration – lead on sponsor ships, secondments and visa-related HR processes, compliance, monitoring and reporting
Employee relations casework – advising and supporting managers on disciplinary, capability, grievance, absence and conduct matters, whilst also supporting formal processes including investigations, hearings and appeals

About you

We would love to hear from you if you are an experienced HR generalist/ advisor and can bring the following:

Sound knowledge of UK employment law and best practice

Experience of ER casework, recruitment and onboarding
Solutions focused, proactive & collaborative
CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent (desirable)
Experience in apprenticeship programmes, L&D and visa's and sponsorship (desirable)
