Job Title: Product Specialist
Ideal location: Stokenchurch, United Kingdom, HP14
Travel: Travel to client office in Leeds (average 1-2 per month)

AboutThe Role
As a Product Specialist for the Asda Retail Media System at CPM UK, you will play a key role in supporting, configuring and evolving a bespoke retail media planning and sales platform used by Asda and Partners. Working closely with the Product Manager, Service Delivery, Development and Customer Success teams, you’ll translate client requirements into practical system changes, resolve issues through direct configuration where possible, and contribute insights that shape future product enhancements.
You’ll also build strong working relationships with client stakeholders, making on average 1-2 visits per month on-site in Leeds to understand how the platform is used in practice.
This is a hands-on, client facing role focused on the day-to-day performance of a business critical system, ensuring it is configured and used effectively, whilst helping to shape and define the future roadmap.
This role suits someone who is technically minded, detail-oriented, and confident working directly with clients and someone who enjoys getting under the skin of a complex system.
What You’ll Be Doing- Act as the day-to-day product specialist for a bespoke retail media sales platform, supporting the client, their sales agency and brand partners.
- Configure and maintain the system to reflect changing business needs.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve system issues hands-on wherever possible.
- Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders, including regular engagement at their Leeds office to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyse platform usage to identify trends, risks, quirks and optimisation opportunities.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for new developments and enhancements.
- Maintain clear documentation of configuration changes, processes and updates.
- Deliver user training (when required), education and guidance to help clients and partners get the most value from the platform and reduce support escalations.
- Proven experience in a client-facing, application-focused role such as application administrator, product specialist, product support or similar.
- Confidence working with complex software or data-led systems, with the ability to investigate issues and make configuration changes directly.
- Previous exposure to Salesforce or Retail Media platforms, including administration or configuration.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical or process-driven topics clearly and patiently to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing, documentation and system changes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work three days per week in the Thame (Stokenchurch) office, with flexibility to travel to Leeds as required (including occasional overnight stays).
- Salesforce Administrator certification (advantageous but not essential).
- Experience working with large data sets, retail media, commercial systems or technology-enabled marketing solutions.
Please note:
This role is not suitable for entry-level candidates. Prior experience in a technical, product, or application-focused role and the confidence to engage directly with clients is required.
- £40,000 – 45,000 salary DOE
