Overview
Grant Engineering UK Ltd are looking to fill a Technical Writer position, working from our facility in Swindon. This role is responsible for producing, maintaining, and delivering high-quality technical manuals, user guides, and technical bulletins for the UK markets and Grant UK staff, ensuring all technical literature is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with corporate standards.
Responsibilities- Create and produce high-quality technical literature to current corporate style and branding guidelines, including installation, servicing and commissioning manuals, user instructions, and additional instructional or technical support documents.
- Ensure all content is accurate, clear, and fit for both print and online publication.
- Prepare finished artwork for different platforms.
- Produce technical bulletins to communicate product modifications and updates to all stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly instructions.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Knowledge of authoring tools and software for creating technical documents.
- 23 days annual leave which increases with years of service.
