Field Infrastructure Engineer - Cloud Services

Your future duties and responsibilities

In this role, you will design, build and support secure infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring systems meet performance, security and availability requirements. You will take ownership of infrastructure across compute, storage and networking, supporting both project delivery and operational activities within complex, secure environments. Working closely with internal teams and partners, you will deliver reliable and scalable solutions, applying innovative approaches to infrastructure engineering while being supported by a collaborative and expert-led culture that encourages continuous improvement.

• Design & Deliver infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premise environments
• Deploy & Configure compute, storage and network components
• Integrate & Support cloud platforms, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Monitor & Optimise system performance, availability and reliability
• Troubleshoot & Resolve technical issues across infrastructure services
• Collaborate & Deliver with internal teams and external partners
  Report & Communicate system status, risks and technical updates Required qualifications to be successful in this role
  
  You should have strong experience in infrastructure engineering within enterprise or secure environments, with the ability to support both build and operational activities. A solid understanding of cloud or virtualised platforms and systems administration is essential.
• You should have proven experience in infrastructure engineering
• Systems administration skills within enterprise environments
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals
• Experience with cloud infrastructure or virtualised environments (Ideally Oracle Cloud)
• Experience with virtualisation technologies
• Proven ability in troubleshooting and incident resolution
• Experience with container technologies and image management (desirable)
• Knowledge of automation, scripting or secure environments (advantageous)
