Product Safety System Lead

Experteer Overview As Product Safety System Lead, you drive the safety-data system strategy and its alignment with regulatory needs. You will manage Sphera to support Regulatory Affairs for Johnson Matthey and Catalyst Technologies, ensuring compliance and smooth onboarding of businesses. You'll stay current on SDS and labeling laws and advocate for system improvements with the vendor. You'll train stakeholders and enable timely SDS/labels while balancing priorities in a global, safety-critical environment.

• Coordinate with JMIT to maintain and enhance the product safety system (Sphera) ensuring a stable, compliant solution that supports Regulatory Affairs across JM and Catalyst Technologies
• Lead ongoing development of the product safety system to meet evolving global regulatory requirements (GHS, REACH and equivalents)
• Lead onboarding of new JM businesses onto the product safety system ensuring effective implementation for safety data sheets and labels
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global SDS and labelling legislation to ensure system outputs remain compliant
• Represent JM in Sphera User Group forums, advocating for enhancements and ensuring alignment between JM requirements and the vendor's development roadmap
• Evaluate and communicate the impact and timing of system updates and proposed changes
• Provide training and ongoing support to CoE and Business users to enable timely and compliant generation of safety data sheets and labels
• up-to-date knowledge of global SDS and labelling legislation to ensure system outputs remain compliant
• Represent JM in Sphera User Group forums, advocating for enhancements and ensuring alignment between JM requirements and the vendor's development roadmap
