We’re looking for a Senior Account Handler to join our Broking Operations team. A role that blends hands‑on operational expertise with mentorship and strategic influence. If you’re ready to manage complex client portfolios, support the development of colleagues, and help drive client satisfaction and business growth, this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Manage complex client portfolios, including renewals, mid‑term adjustments (MTAs), and policy documentation across multiple business lines.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering reliable and professional service.
  • Tailor solutions to meet client needs, risk profiles, and business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues, sharing expertise and reinforcing best practices.
  • Conduct quality checks and support onboarding and training for new team members.
  • Ensure all documentation and policies are accurate, compliant, and audit‑ready.
  • Liaise with insurers to secure favourable terms and stay informed about market developments.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth account handovers and efficient service delivery.
  • Proactively resolve client queries, maintaining high standards of service and accuracy.
Essential
  • Significant experience in account handling within insurance or a related professional services environment.
  • Proficiency with Acturis or similar insurance broking platforms.
  • Broad technical knowledge of relevant products, processes, and market dynamics.
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Collaborative and client‑focused approach.
Desirable
  • Experience in a specific business area, such as commercial, personal lines, or delegated authority.
  • Mentoring or coaching experience supporting colleague development.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory or compliance frameworks.
Key Attributes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work proactively.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Solutions‑focused mindset, supporting both clients and colleagues effectively.
You’ll Ideally Bring
  • Confidence managing high‑value and complex client accounts.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching colleagues.
  • In‑depth knowledge of Acturis and insurance broking processes.
  • A proactive, detail‑oriented approach and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Account Executives, clients, and insurers.
Why Join Clear Group Broking Operations
  • Play a key role managing a book of commercial business alongside our sales team.
  • Make a real impact by supporting clients and developing colleagues.
  • Opportunities for career progression toward Team Leader or broader leadership roles.
  • Join a supportive team that values collaboration, professionalism, and high‑quality service.
  • Work in an environment that encourages growth, learning, and excellence in every task.
