We’re looking for a Senior Account Handler to join our Broking Operations team. A role that blends hands‑on operational expertise with mentorship and strategic influence. What You’ll Be Doing- Manage complex client portfolios, including renewals, mid‑term adjustments (MTAs), and policy documentation across multiple business lines.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering reliable and professional service.
- Tailor solutions to meet client needs, risk profiles, and business objectives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues, sharing expertise and reinforcing best practices.
- Conduct quality checks and support onboarding and training for new team members.
- Ensure all documentation and policies are accurate, compliant, and audit‑ready.
- Liaise with insurers to secure favourable terms and stay informed about market developments.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth account handovers and efficient service delivery.
- Proactively resolve client queries, maintaining high standards of service and accuracy.
- Significant experience in account handling within insurance or a related professional services environment.
- Proficiency with Acturis or similar insurance broking platforms.
- Broad technical knowledge of relevant products, processes, and market dynamics.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- High accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Collaborative and client‑focused approach.
- Experience in a specific business area, such as commercial, personal lines, or delegated authority.
- Mentoring or coaching experience supporting colleague development.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory or compliance frameworks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work proactively.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
- Solutions‑focused mindset, supporting both clients and colleagues effectively.
- Confidence managing high‑value and complex client accounts.
- Experience mentoring and coaching colleagues.
- In‑depth knowledge of Acturis and insurance broking processes.

- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Account Executives, clients, and insurers.
- Play a key role managing a book of commercial business alongside our sales team.
