My client is a boutique commercial licensing firm specialising in the monetisation and enforcement of valuable intellectual property assets. Working with global businesses, the team operates at the intersection of IP strategy, legal rights management, and commercial negotiation turning protected innovation into structured licensing revenue.

They are now seeking a Junior Licensing Officer with prior exposure to intellectual property, copyright, trademarks, or legal practice. This role offers hands-on involvement in licensing negotiations, enforcement strategy, and cross-border commercial discussions.

This is not an administrative IP role it is a commercially focused position where you will be actively involved in progressing licensing matters and supporting live negotiations.

You will work across multiple active licensing programmes involving patent and IP assets, engaging companies internationally and supporting the progression of matters toward executed licence agreements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Introducing and progressing structured licensing programmes with companies globally
• Researching companies, products, and markets to identify potential IP infringement or licensing opportunities
• Drafting and managing professional correspondence relating to IP rights and commercial discussions
• Supporting negotiations and assisting with the execution of licence agreements
• Assisting with enforcement and dispute-related activity across multiple jurisdictions
• Contributing to wider IP strategy and business development initiatives
