Job Description & How to Apply Below
I'm partnering with a global, market-leading business at the forefront of innovation within consumer and professional products. This is a powerhouse organisation with a strong international footprint, high-performing culture, and a genuine commitment to excellence.
They're now looking for a diligent, resilient and commercially sharp In-House Legal Counsel to join their EMEA legal team.
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment where decisions are made quickly and standards are high - this could be your kind of challenge.
This organisation is a global leader in its field, with a portfolio of internationally recognised brands and a presence across manufacturing, product development and distribution worldwide.
With multi-billion-dollar revenues and tens of thousands of employees globally, they operate at pace and pride themselves on innovation, quality and a winning culture. The legal team plays a central role in supporting that growth.
Reporting into the Legal Director (EMEA) with close collaboration across UK and European leadership, this is a broad, hands-on commercial role with real exposure to senior stakeholders.
You'll be:
- Providing day-to-day legal support across multiple EMEA entities
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (supply, distribution, services etc.)
- Advising on legal aspects of business projects and commercial roll-outs
- Supporting marketing and campaign-related legal documentation
- Assisting with signing/closing procedures and execution of documents
- Conducting legal research and providing pragmatic guidance
- Supporting billing coordination and legal admin processes
What They're Looking For
- UK qualified lawyer (essential) with 4+ years' PQE
- Prior experience in private practice (strongly preferred), ideally with commercial exposure
- Solid grounding in commercial/contract law
- Experience in international or multi-jurisdictional environments
- Data privacy knowledge (nice to have, not essential)
- Competition/cartel law exposure (a bonus, but not required)
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong English language skills (German a plus, but not essential)
- Pragmatic, proactive and business-minded
- Organised, structured and able to prioritise in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
They operate ndards are high. The business expects solutions - not roadblocks.
You'll thrive here if you:
- Stay calm under pressure
- Enjoy being robust and hands-on
- Like being close to commercial decision-making
- Take ownership and get things done
- Exposure to a truly international business
- Direct interaction with senior leadership
- A high-performance, ambitious culture
- Broad commercial remit with autonomy
- Genuine opportunity to make impact
Let's explore whether this could be the right next chapter for you.
