Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking for a stable, long-term support role within a friendly law firm?
A well-established, multi-service and multi-office law firm is looking for a Legal Secretary to join its Southsea office, primarily supporting the residential conveyancing department. You may also be required to assist other departments with secretarial duties when needed.
- Preparing correspondence and legal documents
- Opening, maintaining and closing files
- Managing diaries and arranging appointments
- Liaising with clients, solicitors and other third parties
- Providing administrative and secretarial support
- Assisting other departments when required
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary is essential, ideally within residential conveyancing or property law. You should have strong typing, administration and communication skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload.
Please note that this is a Legal Secretary position rather than a Paralegal or fee-earning role. It would best suit someone who is happy to remain in a valued support position and is not specifically seeking progression into managing their own caseload.
Benefits include:- 20 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
- Christmas and New Year closure provided as additional gifted annual leave
- Parking permit provided where on-site parking is unavailable
- Sage Benefits access after probation, including retail discounts and GP access
- Summer and Christmas parties
Apply today if you are looking for a secure Legal Secretary opportunity within a supportive local firm.
