Our talented Employment team has a long-standing reputation for providing strategic, pragmatic and solutions-focused advice on a wide range of complex workplace matters. We work with charities, education providers, faith organisations, social enterprises and other purpose-driven organisations, supporting them through sensitive employee relations issues, organisational change programmes, governance and leadership matters, and employment litigation. Our experience spans high-profile disciplinary and grievance cases, restructures and redundancies, discrimination and whistleblowing claims, executive appointments and exits, and strategic workforce projects.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Solicitor to join our Employment team, focusing on work that is working with our Charity clients. From small and local charities, to larger, national institutions, this role will give the successful candidate a broad range of experience working across our Employment and Charity clients. You’ll work alongside supportive and experienced colleagues, collaborating across teams to deliver excellent client service while continuing to develop your own skills and expertise.

This role offers the opportunity to:

• Support and work on complex and high value legal matters within the Charity sector, ensuring excellent outcomes for clients
• Provide employment advice and assistance to the firm’s clients and prospective clients
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their aims and supporting their success
• Work collaboratively across the team and wider firm to deliver a seamless and high-quality client experience
• Work alongside our HR Consultancy team
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive and high performing team culture
• Take an active role in business development, including networking, thought leadership and client engagement
• Identify opportunities to enhance client service, improve ways of working and support the continued development of the practice
