Kinetic PLC are delighted to be assisting with the recruitment of a Supply Chain Planner to support the client Sales and Services site in Leeds. This is a full-time, 12-month initial contract covering a leave of absence, with potential extension. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Leeds.
This role is ideal for someone with supply chain planning and supplier management experience. You will manage supplier performance, optimize inventory and demand planning, and work across teams to deliver results in a complex, global environment.
Working Hours
Monday - Friday: flexible working hours - 7.5 hours per day
Hybrid role:
Minimum 3 days onsite in Leeds
Assignment & Pay
12-month initial contract
21.54 per hour
Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Potential extension
Key Duties
Manage a complex range of global suppliers, driving performance management and continuous improvement initiatives
Achieve and improve customer service levels, manage inventory targets, and maintain supply-demand balance
Oversee daily operational processes for a critical segment of the supply chain
Identify and eliminate potential supply chain failures as part of the daily planning process
Champion preventive measures to avoid supply disruptions and escalate issues as necessary
Lead cross-functional teams to implement short- and mid-term tactical improvements using Six Sigma methodology
Collaborate with data teams to optimize planning parameters for better outcomes
