Purchasing Executive Role Purpose To support the procurement of materials and services, ensuring goods are purchased cost-effectively, delivered on time, and accurately managed within company systems to support operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities Source and procure materials, components, and services from approved suppliers. Raise, manage, and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and delivery schedules, resolving issues where required. Maintain accurate purchasing, pricing, and supplier data within the ERP system. Support stock control activities to ensure material availability whilst minimising excess inventory. Skills & Experience Previous experience within a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain role.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Effective communication and supplier relationship management skills. Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications. Manufacturing or engineering industry experience would be advantageous.
