We’re looking for a friendly, hands‑on Yard Team Member to join our team  you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in keeping things organised, and like helping customers find what they need, this role could be a great fit. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values collaboration, safety, and great service.

The Role

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full‑time

Hours of Work: 40 Hours per week, working Monday to Friday

As a Yard Team Member, you’ll play a key role in keeping the yard running smoothly. From helping customers and handling stock to keeping the site tidy and safe, your work will make a real difference to the day‑to‑day experience of our members and customers. You’ll work closely with the Site Foreman and store team and be part of a business that’s proud to support British agriculture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming customers and offering helpful, solution‑focused support
  • Handling counter duties confidently and efficiently
  • Building product knowledge, especially in your assigned categories
  • Supporting stock handling, deliveries, and seasonal adjustments
  • Helping resolve out‑of‑stock issues with a proactive approach
  • Keeping the yard clean, safe, and well‑organised
  • Following health & safety, UFAS, and other compliance procedures
  • Pitching in with other tasks and contributing to a positive team environment
About You
  • Experience in a yard, warehouse, or retail setting
  • Familiarity with agricultural or countryside environments is a plus
  • A forklift truck licence would be an advantage
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
  • Comfortable using IT systems and managing multiple tasks
  • Friendly, self‑motivated, and adaptable
  • Committed to delivering high standards and great service
