Robotics Lead

Overview

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Robotics Lead in Leeds, UK. Alternate hybrid locations may be considered at Science Park Drive, OR Zuchwil, Switzerland. This role is available across multiple countries and may be posted under different requisition numbers to comply with local requirements.

Role focus: lead and execute supply chain readiness activities for robotics programmes across the region, ensuring successful launches, effective operational support, and a smooth transition into business-as-usual ownership. Collaborate with global teams and cross-functional stakeholders to translate programme scope into delivery plans, support sustainable processes, systems, and organisational readiness, and manage day-to-day project execution across initiatives, locations, and functions.

• Lead the execution of robotics programme scope, objectives, and delivery approach; translate plans into clear actions and track to completion.
• Coordinate the delivery of multiple concurrent projects across functions, locations, and stakeholder groups.
• Manage day-to-day project delivery activities, including scope tracking, schedules, resources, communications, integration, and sub-team coordination.
• Lead supply chain delivery of robotic New Product Introduction (NPI) launches and line extensions in line with regional priorities.
• Coordinate hyper-care support after robotic NPI deployments and support the transition into operational ownership.
• Assess operational impacts on the end-to-end supply chain and prepare affected teams for change.
• Support the implementation of sustainable and scalable processes for long-term operational success.
• Apply established project management methodologies and reporting tools to provide timely, transparent visibility of status.
• Set up regular team meetings, capture minutes, track actions, and maintain alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to deliver objectives on time, within budget, and in a compliant and reliable manner.
• Maintain key project documents, presentations, trackers, and data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

• Identify programme interdependencies, risks, and issues; escalate as needed.
• Develop and execute mitigation and contingency plans to protect delivery.
• Demonstrate ownership, business understanding, and stakeholder management to drive progress.
• Adhere to applicable laws, policies, and compliance requirements, maintaining professionalism and ethics.

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain, project delivery, operations, or programme support within complex, multi-country environments.
• Experience working with commercial, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to support delivery of business priorities.
• Experience operating effectively within matrixed, global organisations.

• Strong execution focus with the ability to translate priorities into practical supply chain plans.
• Effective communicator able to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.
• Resilient and organised; able to operate in ambiguity and complexity.

• Experience in Med Tech and/or Orthopaedics sectors.
• Experience supporting supply chain activities across culturally and operationally diverse geographies.
• Experience contributing to global platforms, standards, and capabilities based on regional business needs.
