- Evaluate, develop and monitor supplier performance
- Plan, coordinate and conduct supplier meetings and reviews
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for assigned product categories
- Take ownership of demand planning and inventory management
- Analyse sales trends, demand forecasts and market developments to ensure optimal material availability
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement requirements
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with national and international suppliers
- Completed commercial or technical qualification, ideally supplemented by further training in procurement, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, procurement, or supplier management
- Strong product and market knowledge would be an advantage
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems
- Proactive, independent, and responsible approach to work
- Confident and professional manner with strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills and strong intercultural awareness
- Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
