Janitor, Maintenance​/Cleaning, Facility Maintenance

Janitor Role reporting to the Maintenance Manager:

• Waste Management:
  Maximise efficiencies, quality and minimise waste
• Movement of Items - Assist with the movement of items across the site in a professional and timely manner, including: pallets, waste, equipment and office moves
• Site and Grounds Maintenance, maintain grounds including yard, car park and road
• Liaise with departments to ensure continuity of machines running
• Loading pallets and board to waste vehicles
• Maintain excellent housekeeping in all areas, working within specific maintenance schedules and work practices, reporting any defects, hazards and/or issues to the relevant departments
• Follow all quality systems and procedures within Department
• Ensure compliance with existing systems, standards and procedures within the specific work area to satisfy both Business and customer requirements, including ISO quality, hygiene, health and safety and environmental standards
• Work with chemicals, safely and within appropriate guidelines
• Complete cleaning schedules on a regular basis
• Carry out any other reasonable request to meet business requirements
