We're recruiting aDeputy Shift Leaderto join our facilities team at a prestigious, iconic building near Cannon Street. What You'll Be Doing:
Supervise and support a shift team delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on critical M&E systems Respond to building faults quickly and efficiently to maintain seamless operations Manage sub-contractors and ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest standards Use CAFM systems to log tasks, track progress, and maintain compliance Oversee plant room maintenance, ensuring cleanliness, security, and full operational standards Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and ensure KPIs and SLAs are consistently met Prepare Risk Assessments and Method Statements in line with health and safety regulations Step into the Shift Leader role when required and act as a professional point of contact for clients

What We're Looking For:

Essential:
Formal qualification in Electro-Mechanical engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) Proven experience in building services maintenance within corporate, commercial, or complex environments HV Authorised Person certification (current or previous) Previous supervisory or team leadership experience Experience working shifts and providing cover at short notice Strong communication skills and a logical, solution-focused approach to problem-solving IT literate with experience using CAFM or maintenance management systems Desirable:
Experience working in high-profile or state-of-the-art facilities Knowledge of compliance standards, PPE, and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures Why Join Us?
