We are recruiting an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician for a busy, well established automotive retail workshop in Birmingham. This is a strong opportunity for a capable technician who is confident with diagnostics and major mechanical repairs and wants stable earnings with a clear bonus structure.

This is a hands on role suited to a genuine Senior Technician, not a routine service only position. You will be trusted to manage your own workload, diagnose faults accurately and deliver high quality first time fixes.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced diagnostics and fault finding using modern equipment

Engine and gearbox repairs and replacements

Timing chains and belts, clutches and major mechanical work

Electrical and sensor related repairs

Retail preparation to a high mechanical standard

Identifying additional work opportunities and reporting clearly

Maintaining accurate job cards and compliance standards

Working efficiently to meet and exceed productivity targets

What We Are Looking For

Level 3 qualified minimum

Proven experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician

Confident with diagnostics and complex repairs

Strong engine and gearbox capability

Commercial awareness and pride in first time fix
