Vehicle Technician

Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Performance/Classic Vehicle Technician within a unique working environment located in Llandow. Our Automotive Client has a need for a Performance/Classic Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

• Starting salary up to £35,000 per annum; negotiable pending experience.
• Additional overtime in the form of evenings is available as and when, with rates of pay being paid over and above.
• 28 days annual leave. Bank holidays are considered a working day unless booked off (other than Christmas Day & Boxing Day).

• Company support in any additional technical training and development.
• Working hours are 8:00am-4:30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch. 12 weekend events a year are contracted with expenses paid.

• Carrying out servicing and repairs to a variety of vehicles.
• MOT testing.
• Performing diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest standards.
• Assist with car loading and unloading during event periods.
• Flexible approach to assisting with race weekends as required.

• IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Several years of practical experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• A current and valid UK Driving Licence.
• Dedicated and committed approach.

Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with 1 hour for lunch. 12 weekend events per year are contracted.
