The RoleThe Caretaker will play a key role in site maintenance, security, and health & safety, working closely with the school leadership and premises team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Opening and closing the school site
- Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Monitoring health & safety and site security
- Managing contractors and deliveries
- Ensuring the site is clean, safe, and well maintained
- Supporting events and lettings where required
- Previous caretaking or site experience preferred
- Practical, hands‑on approach to maintenance
- Strong awareness of health & safety
- Reliable, flexible, and trustworthy
