Role:
Vehicle Mechanic / Fitter / Technician Salary: £40,000 £ 45,000 Bonus Excellent Benefits

Near Humberside Airport (Commutable from Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Brigg, Barton-upon-Humber, Doncaster, Gainsborough, Market Rasen, Immingham) Benefits 27 days annual leave 8 bank holidays Pension scheme with 8% employer contribution Private medical insurance Life assurance Discretionary performance bonus Christmas vouchers Ongoing training and development Stable long-term role within a successful engineering business Tech Nichols Resourcing are working with a successful heavy plant manufacturing business near Humberside Airport who are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Mechanic / HGV Technician / Plant Fitter to join their site garage team.
Due to the retirement of a long-serving employee, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company offering long-term stability and career development. Working Hours Monday Friday, 7:00am 4:00pm
The Role You will maintain and repair a fleet of HGVs, plant vehicles, dumpers, tippers and light vehicles, working closely with the maintenance and production teams to minimise downtime and ensure all vehicles remain safe and operational.
Key responsibilities include:
Planned maintenance and servicing of Light Vehicles, HGVs and mobile plant equipment Mechanical diagnostics and repair work Emergency breakdown repairs across the site Root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures Completing inspections and maintenance schedules via CMMS Managing and maintaining spare parts levels Requirements NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance, Mobile Plant Maintenance or similar Experience as a Vehicle Mechanic, or HGV Technician or Plant Fitter Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and diesel engines Full UK driving licence If this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Vicky at Tech Nichols Resourcing to be considered or call Tech Nichols Resourcing and speak with Vicky for further information.
