The Education Specialsists are looking for a School Caretakers to work for 2 different schools in Crosby.
Job Description:
- Open and secure school premises as required.
- Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs.
- Monitor heating, lighting, and other building systems.
- Ensure school grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Conduct health and safety checks and report hazards.
- Assist with setting up rooms, furniture, and equipment for school activities.
- Liaise with contractors and support site management tasks.
- Respond to emergencies and maintenance issues promptly.

- Practical maintenance and repair skills
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Reliability and good time management
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Hours of work:
7am to 3pm or 10.30am to 6.30pm for one school and the other school will be 7am to 6pm.
Start Date:
29th June 2026 until the end of the school term up to now.
Requirements for the role:
Enhanced DBS covering adults and children on the update service or a willing to get one.
