Job Introduction

Landmarc Support Services is currently seeking to recruit a Site Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for looking after the Training Estate facilities, typical tasks will include cleaning accommodation blocks, and maintaining the grounds and buildings to ensure a safe, efficient and sustainable place for our Armed Forces to stay while they train.

Shifts run between 07:00 - 17:00 from Monday to Sunday. Weekend work is part of a rota, usually one weekend day in every four depending on operational needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Looking after the camp's general cleanliness, ensuring it is fit for purpose
  • Handover and take back site facilities from facility users
  • Cleaning offices, communal facilities and accommodation blocks, including ablutions, shower blocks etc.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
  • Work in a diverse multi-tasking mobile team environment
  • Operation and maintenance of plant equipment (training will be provided)
  • General building maintenance
  • Basic grounds maintenance
  • Complete all relevant documentation utilising both IT and paper based systems
  • Carry out any other additional requirements as needed
Ideal Candidate
  • General housekeeping and caretaking knowledge
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
  • Ability to complete documentation
  • Basic IT skills with ability to use a tablet
  • Applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence due to the rural location of this site (essential)
