I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing / weaving company based in Ayrshire who are looking to appoint a reliable and hands‑on Semi‑Skilled Maintenance Person / Janitor.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a practical background who enjoys a varied role, covering both reactive and proactive maintenance across a busy manufacturing site — all within a 4‑day working week.
Key Responsibilities- General building and site maintenance
- Responding to reactive maintenance issues
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Basic repairs (joinery, plumbing, painting, minor electrical works)
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
- Supporting overall site health & safety compliance
- Previous maintenance or janitorial experience
- Semi‑skilled trade background
- Self‑motivated and dependable
- Good understanding of health & safety
Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
