Role of the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join Northumberland County Council Facilities Management team as a Cleaner.

Bolam Lake Country Park

Monday to Saturday, 07:30 - 09:35 (12.5 Hours Per Week)

With the addition of the basic cleaning duties, the successful applicant will be responsible for opening the automated site barriers each morning to allow vehicle access. In addition, once cleaning has been completed, they will be required to open the public toilets to ensure the site is fully operational for visitors. There may also be opportunities for occasional overtime work within the on-site café.

This would be arranged under a separate agreement with the County Parks Service.

This is a permanent position and although experience would be preferred, full training will be given.

• 26 days annual leave plus public/bank holidays, rising to 31 days after 5 years of service (pro rata for part-time employees)
