The Cleaning Service provides an essential service throughout the County of Carmarthenshire. The team is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the County’s schools to ensure people can live and work in a clean and safe environment. The role involves term‑time cleaning with additional holiday cleaning of up to 10 days. Duties include dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, emptying waste bins, replenishing consumable items and deep cleaning as required.

You will be responsible for using cleaning equipment, machinery and chemicals, following health and safety guidance.

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to assist with other cleaning requirements.

• An Enhanced Barred List Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required.
• Level 1:
  Basic knowledge of Welsh; reasonable support will be provided.
• Eligibility:
  Must have legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
