Domestic cleaners wanted for local fast-growing cleaning business

A brief description of your work is cleaning people’s houses in a domestic setting and in a team as opposed to on your own.

General hours are the same as school hours and the job would therefore suit candidates with school-age children. We sometimes get jobs that go beyond that remit but these are on an ad hoc basis and entirely voluntary – i.e. we do not expect you to be available for these but if you want more hours, you can be part of that job.

Part-time, regular and flexible hours available.

You’ll be paid monthly by BACS (bank transfer) on the 1st of the month.

We pay above minimum wage - £13 per hour.

Your normal place of work is (company address is 8 Bannerman Avenue, Inverkeithing, KY11 1NG
). You may be required to work at various addresses across Fife, South Queensferry, Kirkliston and Winchburgh.

Your normal working days and hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 2.30pm. If you can work longer, you will get paid accordingly. We pay for time in clients’ houses but not for travel between. If you drive, we will pay mileage.

Your holiday entitlement is 28 days per annum; however these will need to be accrued given this is a part-time position.

We expect reasonable notice for any absence but understand this is not always possible. Sick pay will be in line with current legislation.

Any other leave beyond sick leave we will consider at our discretion as we have done in the past. Except maternity leave of course.

If you’re eligible for a pension, we’ll automatically enrol you into our occupational pension scheme in accordance with our obligations under Part 1 of the Pensions Act 2008. If you do not opt out of automatic enrolment, details of the scheme will be provided once you join.

There is a probationary period of 2 months.

Notice period - If after one week we feel you are not a good fit, we will advise you accordingly. If you do not like the position, you are free to leave at any time.

No experience required; full training will be provided.

Successful applicants will have a good work ethic, be reliable and have a high standard in all aspects of their work.

No need to be self-employed, driver preferable but not essential.
