Cleaning Operative, Cleaning Services

Overview

Daytime Cleaning Position in Springvale, Cwmbran. Position hours: 2 hours on Monday and 2 hours on Wednesday during normal working hours.

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate tools and cleaning agents
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass doors, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine
• Dispose of trash and recyclables properly, adhering to waste management protocols
• Follow safety procedures during cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
• Report maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines for prompt resolution
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled to uphold high hygiene standards

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods while performing cleaning tasks
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to thoroughness and quality
• Excellent time management skills to complete duties efficiently within scheduled hours
• Good communication skills to understand instructions and collaborate with team members
• Prior experience in cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed
