Housekeeper – Farmfield Facility

We look for a detail‑oriented individual who enjoys creating a safe and clean environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society. As a Housekeeper you will be an integral part of our housekeeping team caring for adult men who may have a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses.

• Maintain required security standards of the service by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the facility.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all areas are spotless and deliver high‑standard cleaning services.
• Clean all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitor areas.
• Act as an active member of the team, with responsibility over day‑to‑day operations.
• Maintain excellent telephone etiquette and meet visitors in a professional manner.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users.
• Help create a positive culture and undertake any other appropriate tasks requested.
• Attend mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.

• Previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment.
• Enjoy cleaning and derive satisfaction from a job well done.
• Prioritise duties and responsibilities effectively.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
• Understanding that each staff member has a responsibility to promote and safeguard the welfare of service users; subject to DBS disclosure check.
