Housekeeping Assistant at Birchmere Mews Care Home, Solihull. Work as part of a team to ensure all cleanliness standards and laundry operations are maintained. Follow standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, providing exceptional care for residents.

• Carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understand the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and the properties of cleaning materials.
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and their personal space and belongings are respected.
• Maintain housekeeping and laundry standards according to hotel service guidelines.
• Adapt to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, moving and handling techniques, fire safety, and COSHH assessments.
• Experience cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrated compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality housekeeping service to residents.
• Flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities when required.

• ADBS Disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare).
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
