Position: School Cleaner

Help Create a Safe & Welcoming Learning Environment. Smile Education is looking for reliable, hardworking and dedicated School Cleaners to support a number of friendly primary schools across our partner locations. If you take pride in your work and enjoy maintaining clean, safe and hygienic environments, we'd love to hear from you.

• Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas to a high standard.
• Ensure all areas are safe, clean and ready for pupils and staff each day.
• Follow cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures.
• Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Empty bins, replenish hygiene supplies and report any maintenance concerns.
• Help maintain a welcoming environment that supports pupils' learning and wellbeing.

• Has previous cleaning experience (school, commercial, healthcare or domestic cleaning is desirable).
• Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
• Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Understands the importance of hygiene, safeguarding and confidentiality within a school environment.

• Be able to provide two years of professional references

• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  , or be willing to obtain one through Smile Education.
• Have the Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
