Chulmleigh Academy Trust is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Caretaker to join the premises team.
The role places a strong emphasis on site maintenance, cleanliness, and safety across all Academy schools, with a particular focus on the Chulmleigh College site.
Responsibilities- Perform general site maintenance, including upkeep of buildings and surrounding grounds.
- Ensure consistent application of Health and Safety standards throughout the premises.
- Provide porterage, keyholder duties, and first‑aid coverage as needed.
- Drive the Trust’s vehicles, including a minibus, with an average commitment of about one hour per day during termtime.
- Full, clean driving licence with D1 privileges.
- Strong team‑working attitude with a ‘can‑do’ approach.
- Detail‑oriented and capable of working independently.
- Commitment to high standards of Health and Safety and willingness to contribute to the future development of the schools.
- Prepared to work across all Academy schools, commencing start date of September 2026.
