A highly respected, modern VAG specialist near Kidderminster is expanding its workshop team. Specializing in Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT, Škoda, and Cupra vehicles, this specialist facility is known across the region for dealership-level diagnostic capabilities, major mechanical overhauls, and advanced servicing. Operating from a fully equipped, pristine workshop, they offer exceptional job security, modern tooling, and a supportive team environment.
What's Included in the Package?- Salary & Package: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum basic (DOE) + high-yield performance bonus scheme

Schedule:
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00 (strictly NO WEEKENDS!) - Paid Time Off: Generous annual holiday allowance + statutory bank holidays

- Perform scheduled manufacturer-level servicing, preventative care, and vehicle health checks (VHC) across VAG models
- Execute complex mechanical repairs, including timing belt/chain overhauls, clutch replacements, engine repairs, and suspension work
- Conduct advanced diagnostic fault-finding and electrical troubleshooting using modern diagnostic suites (ODIS)
- Carry out pre-MOT safety checks and vehicle preparation to specialist standards
- Maintain clear electronic job records and uphold right-first-time quality control

Experience:
Proven hands-on workshop experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, or VAG Specialist within a main dealer or independent environment - Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent time-served background)
- Technical Ability: Strong diagnostic fault-finding confidence, tool mastery, and high attention to detail
- Mindset: Quality-focused technician who takes genuine pride in clean, accurate work
- Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
