Position

Reporting directly into the Contract Manager the Multiskilled Operative is responsible for performing various reactive and preventative, trade-related duties to enable BJF Group to meet and exceed its contractual obligations with its clients across multiple estates of varying ages and building types. Responsibilities to include:

Respond to reactive calls, carry out first fix where possible, be prepared to and provide scoping quotes for permanent repairs where first fix is not possible, ensuring minimum downtime.
Carry out all planned building / fabric maintenance tasks as per program and keep accurate auditable records of works planned and completed, the clients CAFM system.
Work closely with site service managers to  ensure that the site is maintained and kept in good decorative order internally and externally – provide advice guidance on routine fabric repairs to support a timely completion.
You are to ensure you work within the confines of current Health and Safety legislation and adhere to site protocols and any work-related safety measures as updated during your induction onto site.
Be commercially aware and be responsible for ordering required materials from suppliers in an efficient manner, following the company’s purchasing procedures.
