Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident delegating and leading small teams.

Computer literate, confident using Word and Excel.

Job Overview

As Workshop & Facilities Coordinator, you will ensure the smooth, safe and efficient running of our workshop space. This highly hands‑on role involves in‑house fixing and repairing, alongside day‑to‑day workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Oversee the day‑to‑day cleanliness, organisation, layout efficiency and compliance with safety, accessibility, and legal standards of Plunge's buildings and facilities.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure project readiness and workshop availability.
• Track, arrange timely servicing, and maintain buildings, tools, machinery, equipment and vehicles.
• Coordinate and respond to emergency repair needs to minimise disruption to workshop or project delivery.
• Organise contractors for any machinery or maintenance tasks not done in‑house.
• Conduct or delegate toolbox talks, inductions, and regular H&S briefings.
• Develop, implement and maintain Health & Safety policies in conjunction with external advisors.
• Maintain up‑to‑date COSHH documentation and ensure the workshop's compliance.
• Coordinate annual fire safety checks and PAT testing.
• Support safe handling and storage of tools, chemicals, and materials.
• Manage stock control, ordering, and replenishment of materials, consumables, tools and fixings.
• Source suppliers, negotiate best prices, and manage budget to ensure cost‑effective operation.
• Ensure correct waste and recycling management procedures are followed.
• Liaise with landlords, service providers, and utility companies regarding building and facility needs.
• Provide cover for the Production Manager or Resource Manager as required.
• Assist in on‑site installations (rigs/de‑rigs) when needed, subject to prior agreement.
